Maryland Courts

Cleckner LLC attorneys have been practicing in all Maryland courts since 2006. We're familiar with all the judges and prosecutors, and how to best handle your case depending upon the circumstances that arise.

Montgomery County (Rockville & Silver Spring) --- Handling cases in Montgomery has it's own unique challenges. Often, the judges and prosecutors here are more difficult than anywhere else. That's why it's important to have experienced defense lawyers like Cleckner LLC who know how to handle them.

Prince George's County (Upper Marlboro & Hyattsville) --- Mr. DeCarlo is a former Special Assitant State's Attorney for Prince George's County, and Mr. Cleckner has spent more time here than any other court.

Howard County (Ellicott City) --- Good results can be achieved in Howard County if you know where to look, and our attorneys have over 10 years of combined experience with the judges and prosecutors in Ellicott City.

Anne Arundel County (Annapolis & Glen Burnie) --- --- Anne Arundel, like Montgomery County, uses instant jury demands. This means that if you are unhappy with your situation in District Court and want to demand a jury, your court date is generally the next day

Charles County (La Plata) --- --- The District Court judges in La Plata have a very regimented way of handling particular types of cases, and we've had years of experience in dealing with each unique situation.

Calvert County (Prince Frederick) --- --- We've found over the years that one of the most important things you can do in a Calvert County criminal/traffic case is to get the Cruiser Cam or Dash Cam video footage. It can provide invaluable information on mistakes made by the officer, and we've won countless cases with this strategy.

Frederick County --- --- The Courts in Frederick are what you would expect of a small town in Northern Maryland. It can be a challenging experience to navigate your case through the best channels to get the result we're looking for.

Baltimore County (Towson, Catonsville & Essex) --- --- The three District Court locations in Baltimore County are visited by a rotating selection of judges, but some appear in one location more often. And some of them can be quite tough, as can the Assistant State's Attorneys. It's often good to avoid some of them by demanding a jury trial.

Baltimore City --- Baltimore City has it's own special way of handling things, some good and some bad. But we know the ins and outs of how things work so that we can help you get the best possible result for your case.

Worcester County (Ocean City & Snow Hill) --- --- Cleckner LLC attorneys have been going to Ocean City regularly since 2006, and we're familiar with the practices of the judges and prosecutors in this very small judicial community. They offer several diversion programs for first offenders with minor charges, and with few exceptions, the judges are fair and reasonable.

Washington County (Hagerstown) --- --- Even though we're from the "other side of the mountain," our attorneys have experience handling cases in Hagerstown.

Maryland Federal Courts --- Federal Court has special challenges, and the penalties are often much tougher than State Courts, which is why it takes special care to handle cases prosecuted here.
